Mine doesn\t slip at all noticably and drives like a stocker. If tyour shifts are too close then fix the kickdown linkage(like perhaps hook it up for starters.) Depending on tires 4 10 is a fair an mount of gear for street use. I run 3.91s with a 30.6" tire )BFG 285 70 R 15. Occasionally I think about 3.73s although rpm is resonable . 60 MPH approx 2700 RPM
As for the discussion on shift kits. I agee. Some are too harsch. I pout a fairbanks in mine last winterand it is a bit harsh on the 1-2 shift. I may try aputting a sping back in the accumulator to see if I can't find a resonable compromise
