[AD removed for archives] ------------------------------------------------------------------- Give your opinion on Abortion and Win! caacHMZb7yoMza/PermissionData ------------------------------------------------------------------- i'm not sure how much help i can be. i'm not a body man but i am a sheet metal worker since 18 (56 now). i would lay the new panel on top of the cowl section that needs to be cut out and scribe a line around its perimeter. i would would probably use a cut off wheel on a die grinder and cut inside the line (a die grinder with cut-off wheel should cut the sheet metal very easily without distortion). i'd take my time and carefully fit the new panel in the cut out, trail and error fitting until i got the closest butt fit. i always used a tig welder for sheet metal, especially custom work.
