 my original set of drums had to be pulled off with the puller but my new
ones slide right off the hub with ease .The hubs will have to be removed
with a puller.  mike 64 dodge

The brake drums come right off my 1964 Fury tapered axle, old style
rear.  I am confused, as I thought they had to be removed with a puller?
 The end of each axle has a big nut with a cotter pin.  Do they all do
this?
