Okay.

I had a Hilborn unit on a SBC years ago and it didn't have the greatest
drivability. I still have an almost new pump for a Hilborn unit so I
thought if they were using mechanical injection I might just dust it off
and give it a try. :-)

Ken

Ken,

People are taking the old 8 port Hilborn mechanical injection, putting
one or two electrical
injectors per port, with a brain, mapping it, and it runs great when
your finished. The key
words are "When your finished". It looks cool because it is old school,
and runs like new
school. Most of the guys that I have seen doing it wind up with about 8
grand invested.
Even though it is neat, a Holly 1050 looks a lot better on "my" Visa.

Earl

Hi Earl,
Are you talking about converting to mechanical or electrical FI? I
assume electrical, but you mentioned Hilborn.
Thanks,
Ken
