Circuit trace repair kits can be purchased through Electronic supply houses. Pace ( a major manufacturer of electronic soldering equipment and supplies) makes some real good kits. I've repaired lots of circuit boards in radios and other equipment. Your broken trace is a minor problem, your dancing altgauge and the circuit breaker "clicking" is indicating a major ground , Chances are your Alt gauge and the circuit breaker are dancing to the same tune. Remove all other feeds coming off of the wiper switch circuit breaker( it seems to be the feed point for your backup lights) and isolate the wiper circuit & see what happens. Will a drop of solder bridging the gap do it? This might have been my problem with my wipers, i dont know, i tore out the dash gauge panel and found a break in the printed circuit that was basically preventing the voltage limiter( ????? A LITTLE SILVER BOX WITH 3 PRONGS THAT PLUGS IN THE CIRCUIT BOARD ) from finding ground. Could that be whats making my alt gauge dance and my wiper switch breaker click? Geez I hope i found the problem Neal Zimmerman, Eugene Oregon [AD removed for archives] ------------------------------------------------------------------- Amazing Diet Patch The fastest - Easiest way to lose weight!
