Perhaps some other members can chime in on this, I am going from memory so I may be way off. It sounds to me as if the problem may be in the wiper motor or that the linkage to the wiper pivots may be at fault. Also, the shafts that the wiper arms hook to may be all gummed up and the shafts are causing so much mechanical resistance for the motor to overcome, thus, the breaker keeps tripping. I think this may be the problem, especially if the car has been inactive for a few years. What I do know is that it is pretty cool the way that the wipers are designed to go to the park position, they reverse polarity to the wiper motor and it turns backwards until they reach the bottom of their travel, then shut off. Good luck and let us know, Stan
