Fellow Mopar buddies,

This a question for information, and for the camshaft guys to show what they got!
Not to ask a stupid question for a stupid response, but what would you run in a 318,
(Poly of course),.... a stock type 'solid cam, or a hydraulic cam?? and why??
What are the Pro's and Con's of each??? The cams are coming from Chris Nielson.
I'll be running a Duel-quad setup. I'm stuck between two(4) choices:

Type GRIND# LIFT ADV. DURATION .050'' DURATION.

Hyd. 1 262H .425'' 262 208
Hyd. 2 272H .450'' 272 216
*
Solid 1 268M .440'' 268 222
Solid 2 272M .440'' 272 228 ( replacment for 300-D OEM. cam.

So, What do you think? Gary, I know you have some knowledgeable insight!

I want to use the stock conv., the block's punched .040., I want a mean idle, and head snapping
response. Let me know guys!!

Thanks,
Kyle
