One pitfall I had was my 62(made in L.A.) had "Floating Power" motor mounts which may have been a early item changed over later in the year. Yes the frame bracket was a flat pad and luckily I had found a pair of early big block mounts .I also used 69 hi-po manifolds and a H pipe off a wrecked GTX( had to cut flanges and reweld) which had no inteference.A 440 would not have needed the flange angle modified but the 383 was a low milage 4 barrel dual point engine.and cheap. Still very strong .Mr Petty may have a later 62 with no oddball mounts so there may be no problems there, but the exhaust stuff is still nice to know Randy Routt [AD removed for archives] ------------------------------------------------------------------- Buy Stocks and Index Funds for just $4 No Account or Investment Minimums and No Inactivity Fees Automatically invest weekly or monthly and build your future. caacvggb7yoMzf/Sharebuilder ------------------------------------------------------------------- ---- Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person.
