That's EXACTLY what I am thinking.  I sent them an email asking them if they were willing to put it in writing and sign it, stating their position - so if my engine grenades because I'm not getting oil into the right places, then they'll pay for the rebuild.
 
Yeah, I'm sure I'll get a reply to that email...!
