>From what I read the biggest problem with the 62-64 rear ends is the tapered
axle brake problem and thats why people swap to a later flanged axle version
of the 8 3/4 but there is a minor track width change involved.  I've also
noticed that there is a disk brake conversion for the 58-64 two piece rear
axle (SSBC available thru Summit $639.95).  Has anybody on list gone this
route?  Does it solve the problem?  Does it change the rear track width?  Is
the money better spent going with a Dana 60?
