That's very interesting.
You could put the oil filter on the fender well or firewall.
It only allows a fram ph8a or equivalent but that's a BB filter, isn't it?

For $35.00 I got the oil filter relocation kit from Summit and mounted the
filter on the lower firewall. Out of the way of exhaust and easy to get to.
