SWING BY A WELDING SUPPLY CO. the have charts for thickness and rod
selection.
 for body panels a Lincoln 100 mig works great or
for general welding I also use a Miller 250 mig using multi passes good up
to 1/2" steel
I believe we have a few certified welders also on the list, hopefully they
will jump in..
