First having a 3 on the tree I needed the correct 4 speed hump ['64-66 only] to allow for the larger 833. Couldn't use the OD housing Clutch fork to long. Re used 3 speed bellhousing opening up for the bearing retainer just short of the clutch fork retainer inside the bell housing. Then cut down the existing OD bearing retainer to match . Machine shop should have both for a correct cut.Went to round Allen head bolts due to clearance. Next had to notch the tranny mount to accommodate the 3/4 linkage since the shift tab is up instead of down on the OD tranny, plan to weld in a section on the linkage since it's barely long enough. Since the OD uses a slip yoke got a later B body drive shaft matched the Joints and cut and balanced the drive shaft . Might be an easier way but it worked for me. Would I do it over again.YES! HP motor pulls hard and cruises nicely in OD. Do have some pics available of list if interested.
