i remember now i had a hard time finding rings for 4.400 (4.402) bore. keith
blacks recommended rings for 215s are the wrong part # and i eventually got
sent speedpros for a 4.405 bore. which i file fitted to the cylinders. is a
4.405 ring too big for my cylinders? is that why they are not sealing? summit is
wanting to send me more of the same i think they are for a 30 over 454.
would a .003 too much on the gap hurt compression this bad? i overgapped the
first couple by about that much but got the rest of them done right. could
blowby take out a head gasket? just food for thought before i go back into this
thing. thanks in advance
