So I wanted to get this thread back on topic with an update. So far I have put a new fuel pump on and a phenolic spacer. My first outing was a short trip and after about 45 minutes in the restaurant, I came out and it didn't want to start at all. Took two sets of cranks and it's finally fired. I guess this is a bit of an improvement but I'm not sure as I still can't figure out what in the world is going on. I bought a high-flow 5.5 power valve to try, but haven't gotten it in yet. I'm hoping to do that tomorrow night before I drive it to work on Friday. I'll post another update as soon as possible.
