A video may well help, Gary.  I found the Factory manual pics dim and 
grainy - just not very informative.  Anyone with a decent digital camera 
could take a few shots of the parts assembled and dis-assembled that 
would be much, much better than what has been available.  The FSM 
description of the procedure is accurate as far as it goes, but words 
cannot capture what a few pictures deliver. My personal experience 
involved three fairly knowledgeable folks with a FSM and quite a bit of 
general MOPAR mechanical experience. We didn't "get it" 'til we dropped 
the pan and looked at the assembly in both states.  Then  (and ONLY 
then) came the magical moment of "AHH - HAAH!!":-) :-)

Back in the day, I would bet that a new MOPAR mechanic who had the 
benefit of guidance by an experienced person would "get it" after a few 
tries, find it easy for the rest of their days and never have to eyeball it.
