Yes Steve I was really lucky and not too stupid, I guess. I learned very quickly to be completely sober (in every way) when I was driving it. It always wanted to do burnouts! I made sure that car stayed home if I was going to be out partying.

Yeah I really jumped in with both feet! I was lucky to be in HS when it was just a used muscle car. It was a 440 4-speed with Air Grabber - which had to be the coolest hood to ever come out of Detroit. A previous owner had put a '69 440 6 bbl in it from an A-12 Road Runner so I had that going for me too. Lots of fun!
