Re: Been wondering

You need to compare apples to apples,,,,,,,,,,,In 65 the A-body was a 111 inch wheel base with an overall body measurement of 196 inches, the B-body a 117 with overall of 204,  and the C-body 121 with overall of 212,,,,,,,, the body styles changed between the 65 and 68s, and you also jumped to a different brand as well,,,, with the A-body Plymouths being  a wheel base of 108 and overall of 188, B-body wheelbase of 117 and overall of 203 inches, and the C-body  wheel base was 119 with an overall of 213.
You need to look at the platform (wheel base) to establish if it is A-B-or C-body, within the same year and brand.  Body styles have changed over the years,,,,, look at the size of todays cars compared to the 60s

I got a 65 Polara 2dr.  According to everybody into old cars, it's considered a C body.
I don't see how this is possible when in a side by side comparison, it's no bigger than a '68 Runner.  In fact it's about 8 - 10 inches shorter than my buddy's '71 300, from bumper to bumper.  Any thoughts?  This is also weighing on what intake I'm going to run.  A good explanation will be appreciated.
