I had a 220 volt mig welder and never needed the higher voltage. I bought a used Miller 130 and it is GREAT! - easy to use. Parts are available about anywhere. A lot of the welders now look like Miller. Possibly Eastwood has their name put on a Miller. but I doubt that. Find out who does make the Easttwood BTW I just bought a Harbor Frieght mig welder caddy on wheels and holds the gas bottle too. I had to put it together.but only $35 with coupon......................MO On Jul 16, 1:59 pm, "Dennis C." <dennis.2...@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: > I am considering a MIG welder. > > A friend suggested that a 120 volt unit is all that I would need, it > would be able to weld up to 3/16" to 1/4" mild steel and that is all I > would ever need. > > I have looked at some at a welding supply house and Eastwood has this > one on special: > > http://www.eastwood.com/review/product/list/id/5075/?p=5 > > Any comments on MIG welders would be appreciated. > > Thanks > Dennis C. -- -- Please address private email -- email of interest to only one person -- directly to that person.
