Herb,
Thank you for the feedback. I checked out Kwik-Lift on Google Search
and found some excellent deals on used systems; WOW, I checked in vain for used
sets a couple years back and had to purchase mine new at the regular retail
price – picking up a used unit is the best deal as there is nothing to really
wear or go wrong as they are really heavy duty and foolproof/indestructible
units.
I added the car-dollie casters to my lift and I can push the entire system
around the garage with one hand and moderate pressure – and that is with my car
on the lift! I have a double-deep garage and it takes about three minutes
to push the Plymouth to the other side of the garage so I can drive the Dodge
through the space previously occupied by the Kwik-Lift with my Ply on it.
By the way, what led you to suspect they may be going out of
business?
Thank you,
Gary

It appears that Kwik Lift might be or is going out of business.
Just Google it before you jump. Other than that it sounds like it is
just what Jacob is looking for. Only found one person
disappointed.

Jacob,
My “regular height” garage ceiling would not permit a full-size two
or four-post hyd. lift; and in CA (earthquakes) I would not want my car
elevated to that height. Additionally, it is more fatiguing at times
to stand and work with your arms elevated under a full-size lift (for some
people anyway). For those reasons I chose a Kwik-Lift system that
allows me to drop transmissions, work on the brakes/suspension...without
fatigue and concerns of having my car suspended with hydraulics...check it
out online or e-mail me at glpavlovich@xxxxxxx and I will send
you pictures of my car on the lift. No, I don’t sell or benefit from
this lift mfgr. in any way, just found it to be the right lift for my
needs, concerns, and ultimate safety. It will easily and quickly
(less than ten minutes) fold down so you can park on it or drive over it
when not in use...and it is easily moved if you want but the parking and
drive-over features make it unnecessary to do so.

Yes on a 220 motor AND get aluminum ramps, so much
lighter than steel.

Super Lifts was a good company but have gone
bankrupt and ripped off numerous people they are part of
a shell game using several names like Gemini Lifts,
Super Lifts, Superior Lifts, Superlifts, Mid-America
Autolifts, HBC Enterprises, Goolsby INC, Lite Aluminum
Products, etc. They have rejuvenated the name and
are selling lifts on the net again. Different
people are owners of these company's but all are on the
Board of Directors of each others company's, GO
FIGURE, I was ripped off for 4 lifts. Just
Google them and read the stories of people including
Barrett Jackson that they stole money from with no
product delivery or if they did deliver people were sent
old lifts with new paint.
I went ahead and got 4 Bend Pak lifts and am
completely happy with them! If your looking for
quality take a close look at Dannmar Lifts, they are
made by Bend Pak but are much less expensive, and not as
pretty. I got mine from Garage Equipment Supply,
800-261-7729 and ask for Ryan, tell him Herb McCurdy
sent you and he should give you very competitive
pricing. He sells Bend Pak & Dannmar.

I got mine from Super Lifts, love it
and no problems. My friend has 4 of them all from Direct
Lifts and no problems.
I believe Herb had a issue about lifts
a few months ago. Herb?
