Another Problem

Was working to pull the 318 engine out of my 64 Fury today, and when it was raised (front up) saw that there is a leak from the oil pan.  Looks like a small dent from the inside, that made a pin-hole sized puncture at the area about 4-6 inches to the rear, and a level above the drain plug (right above the steering link).

Figured this wasn't good (brilliant deduction), and could be the problem with the engine refusing to turn over.  Any thoughts of what this could be?  Rod?  Other?

If there is no damage to the block, would a full rebuild on the 62,000 mile engine be a fix?

Thanks,

Larry (Akron)
