Flex plate question!

Hello to all,,,,Why is it that Mopar used 2 different size Torque Converters / Flex plates on some of its 440's.
I'm presently using a 1965 727 with a 19 tooth spline shaft and that Torque Converters has an 11 1/8 flex plate bolt pattern.

I recently purchased a new 2500 stall Torque Converter for my 440 and it has a 10" bolt pattern. why did Mopar decide use the 10" and the 11 1/8 on some of its 440's

My main question is,, are there any problems that may come up along the way ,,with this change over.

Thank you all,
Jay Rod.
