I don't think a large yoke was ever made for a 741 case.
A 741 was used on /6, and small block cars.
Not any need for the larger joint in those applications.

Noisy is not a good sign. You have to remove the center anyway, so someone can look at the wear patterns and give an educated evaluation. May be cheaper to replace it with a known good 8.75.
