I am looking for something that may not exist. Back in the late 60's early 70's Stewret Warner electric fuel pumps were very popular around here. They were kinda like a cylinder mounted up and down with a rubber flat top boot that covered the built in fuel pressure adjustment. The bottom had a metal sediment bowl with a wire bail securing it. The pump had a very audible clicking noise that probably was a piston pumping pressure. . If the car set for some time, it would click rapidly and then slow down as pressure was pumped up. You could hear the clicking , several feet away from the car. These pumps are hard to find , especially in working condition. New old stock ones bring big money.
I mostly want that nostalgic clicking pump sound. Is there any new or newer pumps that makes this described sound. Thanks for any input....................MO
