Re: Another tranny question

If you have no kickdown linkage, or it isn't adjusted right, will there be any harm in affixing the lever on the tranny to full position?.....................MO

Last year I replaced the 318 in my 65 Polara with a 440. I also the tranny
custom built for the cable shift set up. The kick down was not hooked up
because one has to be fabbed. I drove the car without a kick down for about
400 miles. Does anybody think doing this hurt my tranny? Thanks in advance
for the input.
