either 3:91 or 4:11 would work depending on how far you drive to the track and what your threshold for economic pain is for gas bills. I had 4:10's in my small block 4-speed Duster a couple of years ago and a 60 mile round trip cost about $60 but...that car did fly, I sure miss it. You might try contacting Dan Dvorak in Florida, I thought I had seen recently where someone was advertising 3:73's for the 8 3/4 rear. Good Luck!, either way, it will be fun .

I have purchased a 489 Casing, 8 3/4, that I am going to have updated with a Tru Lock.I have contacted the usual places, Moser, DTS and Hensel's Garage in Ohio. Has anyone ever had any work done by Hensel's Garage? He states he caters toward Mopars.I originally going to go with a 3:55/1 for cruising and racing. Then I got to thinking that for all that money maybe I ought to have it set up for racing, I would drive to the track, like a 3:90 or 4:11. Then when going to long trips switch back to the original 3;23.Any thoughts on my plans? I currently have a warmed over 68 440 TNT engine with an automatic.Jim 1965 Coronet 500, 440CI ----Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person.
