Yes, the "A" "LA" small block TorqueFlights have a different bolt pattern. The internals are pretty much the same afaik though. Yup, scrappers have a different mentality: "the future be dammed I want cash now!" A few years ago when the price of steel was real high an ol' timey junkyard near me went on a rampage crushing well over 1000 cars going back to the 1930s, including a 1962 Polara 500!
