I save all of my 727 cores now, they are getting hard to find. I sold a couple to John Cope @ CRT a couple of years ago but not anymore, Steve is correct about them getting scarce.

Hay Dave, a 62-65 TF would be kinda hard to find. Just today a friend called me looking for any TF that would bolt up to a 440. I said those should be plentyful. . He stated- not so, people around here have been scouting around and buying up all they can find. Probably going for aluminum salvage.........................MO{Steve Mick} http://stevemick.shutterfly.com/pictures#Part%202----- Original Message ----- From: "Dave64" <lt7dave@xxxxxxxxx>To: <1962to1965mopars@xxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, September 21, 2010 7:59 PM Subject: Re: '62 TransmissionThanks - I'm reconsidering. I don't think the TC is part of it, but I would be going with something different anyway. I'll tell my wife you guys made me buy it. :-) LOL Actually, she'd like the road trip - and she could help load it!--- On Tue, 9/21/10, Gary Wilson <Gwwilson67@xxxxxxxxx> wrote:From: Gary Wilson <Gwwilson67@xxxxxxxxx> Subject: Re: '62 Transmission To: 1962to1965mopars@xxxxxxxxxx Date: Tuesday, September 21, 2010, 4:48 PM Big mistake if you pass on it. They are getting harder to find. Just my opinion. Plan a overnight trip out of it. Like a mini vacation. ----- Original Message ---- From: Steven Charette <stevec@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: 1962to1965mopars@xxxxxxxxxx Sent: Tue, September 21, 2010 1:30:13 PM Subject: RE: '62 Transmission Dave, If your '64 has pushbuttons, you're golden. Good price, IMHO. If the drive is enjoyable, all the better! The tranny I'm looking into is a push button from a '62 Polara 500. The price is $100. plus a couple hundered miles of driving. It would need to be rebuilt, so it's essentially a core. Maybe I'll pass on it.
