Opinions are like belly buttons; we all have 'em. :) 

Anyway, many discussions have erupted over this topic but the bottom line to me is what Jeff said: "it's all about what you ARE comfortable with...."

They are all good brands, the secret is to tune the carb to your specific application and get real familiar with that brand. If you are into Holley you have a heads up there.
