I may be overlooking something here Bill, but have you tried replacing 
the coil? My Polara came home on the rollback last year due to a 3-month 
old Accel coil failing. Another issue I had was 3 years ago when I 
changed a point distributor over to elec. on a 273 in a 65 Dart and 
forgot to change the coil, too. It ran great till it warmed up, then it 
would die every time I drew any power... turned on the lights, stepped 
on the brake, etc. New coil cured it.
