Thanks all for your responces, Again I learned from the good folks on this mai-list. In using 8 inch wide rims which are actually closer to 9" rim edge to rim edge. I may be cutting things to close for my fenderwell clearance. Most of the recommendations for the tire size I want to use calls for the 8" I am thinking cheater slicks or stickey street tires. I have a chance at 7" cop wheels close to me and priced at $30 for the pair. I think I will go ahead and buy them so I can mock them up and get actual clearance measurements. I am sure at that price, I could probably swap meet them and make a couple bucks. Any more input is welcome and if someone has one or two of the 8" wheels, let me know. I have possibly found one. Thanks all.........................MO

I need a pair of 4 1/2" circle Mopar steel wheels 15x 8 with backspace right at the center ( about 4 1/2 inch from the inner rim edge.) I have been told that an earlier Dodge Ramcharger had these as OEM wheels Anyone know if that is right or have some wheels to sell? Thanks...............................MO{Steve Mick} http://www.1962to1965mopar.ornocar.com/mick64.html ----Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person.
