If you're talking about oven cleaner with lye, such as Easy Off, I think the EPA forced the manufacturer to remove the lye. I was told at the Nats to use lye to strip the anodizing from my Fury trim, but I don't think you can get lye anymore. Anybody know of other products that contain lye?
