RE: Bumper vendors?

I've had good luck with Tri-City Plating www.tricityplating.com. When buying at the shows, you don't have to have a core, and they generally bring a front and rear for just about all 60's-70's Mopars to the big shows like the Nats. I've bought for the '62, the '72, and the '69 from them. They will accept a core and give a credit for it if you do have it. The eBay listing mentioned shows a price of $495, the most expensive I've paid from TriCity was $325 for the '72 Cuda, but of course the '63 bumpers are more metal. I saw the same seller lists for '67-69 Cuda (front and rear are the same piece for those cars) for $475, TriCity was $225 last time I bought, although that's been a few years ago. Some friends have bought from Bumper Boys and not had it turn out so good, with peeling chrome and excuses for warranty inquiries.

Bill & Kathi Parker, '62 Plymouth Max Wedge; '64 Dart convertible; '65 Barracuda \6; '65 Imperial; '68 Barracuda FB 340-S; '69 Barracuda FB now 360; '70 Challenger now 440; '72 Cuda '340
