I'd think you could wire it so the battery would be accessible by extending
a couple of wires from the + and - of the clock. / Butch/Ferndale, WA

Joe Suchy sells a conversion kit for $75  -- I have seen it sold by other
vendors. I assumed it was electric and didn't require an extra battery.
Pulling that cluster once a year to change a battery would be a hassle.
