I know the accel pumps are working fine. You can see the spray and I've had them apart many times recently. It did backfire through the front carb a number of times and that wsa usually the point when it died off. It threw out blue smoke through the carb too. A stock car guy was here when I got home and he thinks some valves aren't closing totally. He said his stock car did that on him after he was racing and pulled into the pits. He had to loosen the lash. Have no fear, I'll chase it down relentlessly.
