I'm sure you can fab a throttle and kickdown if you have the tech ability. It kinda depends on your skills. Welding would be helpful bit threading and rod couplings, etc could work. I just liked the ease of the cable. It's much shorter than you'd think too. I wound up with a 25" (?) throttle cable and still cut it down a little. That was with dual quads so my throttle attachs at the rear carb. Yours would be a little longer but the 25" should be good without cutting it. Give it a try to fab stockish and fall back on the cable if you have too much hassle for you.
