Yep, the carbs were new and I ran them as is for a year or so. When I 
started tweaking them things got better. But the nasty ignition monster 
got me. I think that was always the weak point. I need to just redo the 
whole mess. When I shut off my new bypass feed switch the engine wants 
to die. That's OK. If you know where a problem is you can fix it 
eventually.
