Knud-erik,

The 318 poly (1966 and older) is an "A" motor. The 360 is an "LA"
motor and shares it's design with the 273, 318 (1967 and newer), and
340. That's why 360's are cheap to build...LA (small block) motors are
everywhere and easy to find parts for. Not many people are playing
with Poly motors...except us of course!!!
