MSD soft touch rev limiters are the way to go. If you don't want to upgrade
the ignition system to MSD (high recommended though) then the rev limiter
alone is approx $175 and minimizes spark output so your engine doesn't load
with fuel, just kinda falls flat with reduced power. This to me is the best
sort of the system instead of those like the Mallory that actually cut out
spark completely which loaded up the cylinders at high RPM. This has been my
experience.
