checks

It is true that risks are greater than they used to be but I still place a lot of judgemnt on whom I am dealing with. I also use a limited and seperate bank account for anything online. That way there is a severe limit to what is available. I use a credit card when ever I can because i am not liable in Canada for its misuse. Also when there is a problem have had folks send cash . for instance $59 bucks wrapped in a letter and mailed? What is the worst that could happen and more than ikely never will.?
I refuse to see "A wolf behind every tree. " Since 911 the world and particularily NA has gone nuts. In fact no matter how careful we are anyone who is really bent on doing us can figure out a way. The more rules we have the more predicdictable we become and the easier it is to scam us because of predictable performance.
Me I want to live free and will by choice.
I use checks , personal checks for book sales, wrapped cash, used to use paypal till i closed my Ebay store. So far I have not ever once been beat. I have goten some bum parts and just avoid those people forever afterwards. I did have one guy not send parts i paid for. but I wont die over it. .
Into every life some rain must fall. I dont read any forward internet warnings. I am not living my life in fear. Most guys in our hobby are decent i find. Some are not but very few. Me I would wrap uo three twenties and send them along. They have an almost 100% chance of getting there.

Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person. I.e., send parts/car transactions and negotiations as well as other personal messages only to the intended recipient, not to the Clubhouse public address. This practice will protect your privacy, reduce the total volume of mail and fine tune the content signal to Mopar topic. Thanks!
