Thanks for the link Don, nice picture. I've owned 2 AMC's in my life. The first was at the beginning of 1971 when I traded in my 69 Roadrunner convertible on a 71 Gremlin. Looking back this wasn't one of the brightest decisions I've ever made in my life but hey at the time gas was up to 38 cents a gallon. The second was at the end of 1974 when I bought a 74 Javelin AMX. A friend of mine was the sales manager for an AMC dealer and this was his demo that he had special ordered. It had every conceivable option that could be ordered on an AMX except one. It had a 360 and not the 401. The owner of the dealership wouldn't let him order a 401 because he had totaled his previous 401 powered demo.
