hey Rich, it was good seeing you again and Paul (skagdragger). sorry I missed out on meeting Ron & Joe, although you did point out Ron to me. as he drove out, in the Daytona,
pulling his trailer at the end of the day. very cool site. (o:I found a strip kit for my Carter AFB in the swap section. there was also a guy who had some nice chrome gas caps, that fit the wagon version of our cars. there kinda hard to find.
shoulda' grabbed an extra? oh well.there's that one vender, he's in the swap, has a ton of stuff, but he's over priced, I think. anyway he had a factory dual quad manifold w/carbs for the Poly, $1,000.00. the carbs looked pretty bad. and the heat shield covered the bottom, so I could not see if it was cracked. also, he had that thing at the last Fling, as I recall. that guy sure hauls around alot of stuff???
it was a great show as usual, and just to much to look at. those new HEI distributors for $90.00 sure looked cool! was that the Fastman or another vendor? Rich Kinsley '64 Dodge Polara 4dr 318poly w/goodies At least this time I got the date right and actually got to go to theSpring Fling in Van Nuys. I like to get to meet other list members. Thistime I saw Schuyler Wroble, Ron Crossley and Joe Machado. Ron has a really nice car and it was cool the way Joe's 06 '69 Dodge Daytona wing car towed his sale trailer. Quite a sight.I got osme more decals from Schuyler, a trunk weatherstrip from Joe and a DVD from Fastman EFI. Me thinks that may be the next direction my 'olPoly will go. Probably use the 2X4 manifold with it too. Now I gotta get cracking and put the Poly back together for the Dyno tune so I can get it racing! ----Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person.
