RE: What's with the wire?



Might have been a lead used when they checked the integrity of the casting
at the factory?
Or maybe remnants of a hanger from the casting or painting shop?

I've seen this in a number of original Mopar engines so its not unique.
However, don't know the "why."

I was ulling my extra poly aparo today and when I got the intake off,
it looks like there is a wire running through the coolant jacket of
each head. What in the world is this?
