Springs and such

Rich Kinsley '64 Polara 4 dr 318poly w/goodies

Today I removed the springs on my Dodge. I had to cut off the u-bolts as
they were uncooperative. I have some '68 Roadrunner springs and was
considering using them but when I lay them side by side i see the RR
springs are much flatter and would move the diff back about 1". My
springs look like they have lot's of arch off the car but on the car
they are very dead! Almost to a reverse arch. I'm assuming they are just
weak. I'm gonna take them to a spring shop tomorrow and see what they
can do. I'll go to Inland truck where George said he went.
