RE: A990

On mine I plan on using the pop rivets.
i have a good grille on the way and a not so good one the car came
with, that i plan on cutting up for the headlight modification
    panels.
too baD I AM CUT OFF FROM THE LIST except thru replies, cause my 4
door coronet conversion into a 2 door post conversion ( thanks to
the god-like help of wally Breer, who has done this conversion ) is
    under way.
i had a minor nervous breakdown at christmas and sold everything i
had except kept my 65 coronet and its corresponding 64 dodge polara
parts car for the conversion. yep hard to believe i sold a few two
doors and a wagon to keep a four door, but the CRITERIa WAS " WHICH
ONE IS THE MOST SOLID??" , and the 65 coronet won with completely
solid cowl , trunk floors aquarters and rear window trough..
I have twenty doors from 64-65 4 doors( nobody wants those from
their parts cars right, so i got em free or close to it)
this provides the metal for the window frames .
I am documenting the whole process by photos and when done i want to
stick it in the tech section of our site,
i also found a guy with a 65 coronet two door hardtop locally that
sold it to me as an extra parts car for 200 bucks. he wanted it gone
bad and it was pretty far gone, the roof was missing , no title and
glass alll busted up , but the fenders , doors and front bumper ,
b-pillars and quarters were good , so i have more metal to do another
conversion on a 64-65. anybody want me to do theirs next??
well , i will get back on-list somehow, and share more of my latest
madness. maybe i'll call thaT Menko guy, maybe he can help.
