Re: cuda colors & pushbutton woes

Hi Bob

Havent you ever seen a 71 cuda with those big decals on the rear quarters, with
the engine c.i.d. in big numbers at the leading edge? Well theyre known
as billboards. Not that we get many round here, 71's are quite rare in these
parts, and they were only an option on 71's.

As for our 727, the guy that rebuilt it for us fitted a Trans Go shift-kit,
but I'm not sure which one. I'd imagine it would be the no.2 from what you
say, as it's mainly for street use. I must say thought, that the shifts
from 1-2 and 2-3 arent anywhere as firm as those in our 69 Sport Satellite's
727, which also has a Trans Go kit. We get a chirp of the tires in that
car, even a moderate throttle. No hint of tires being chirped in the 63.
Not yet, anyway.
The only firm part is when you do get it into drive from neutral, it does
make the car jump forward quite a bit, even with your foot hard on the brake.

I'll have a look at the Moparts.com tech pages, thanks for the 'heads up'!

And good luck with yours!

Robert

Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person. I.e., send parts/car transactions and negotiations as well as other personal messages only to the intended recipient, not to the Clubhouse public address. This practice will protect your privacy, reduce the total volume of mail and fine tune the content signal to Mopar topic. Thanks!
