Jeff,
I picked up on that thread about 6 months ago... Has it grown?
I was going to do a tailgate on a truck as a test, but never got
around to doing it. I talked to a couple of paint guys about it and
of course they did not think much of it, but it sounds like a good
idea to me. I have done single stage before in my garage and color
sanded all the debris out that you get with a garage paint job, and
it came out just fine.

Have any of you guys read the thread on roller painting at the Moparts
discussion board? It's 50 pages long and there are guys there turning out
good paint jobs using rollers! Anybody ever tried it? If you have the time
it's an interesting read.
