Re: Tubbing Question

Great. I am looking forward to the pics. I cut the right wheel well in half today. Most of the time was spent cleaning all the undercoating off. It looks like I should also cut the lip of the frame rail to get another inch of clearance. Looks like all I would need to do is reweld the frame rail to the floor pan along the edge. Any opinions on this? I am hoping to be able to fit N-50X15 Mickeys (14.1" section width). If everything works out, I'll get the housing to Moser next week for shortening and axles.

Hey, let me get home tonight and I can send you some pictures. I have already
halfed my wheel wells and they came out GREAT! As for the rear seat mounts
(mine is a '64 B body), I cut the wheel well on the inside (toward center of
car) of the mount so it remains in it's stock location. I also managed to keep
the mounts that hold the wiring harness in the stock location (driver side).

Now I have to cut the wheel housings in half and move them in also. Most
everything seems straight forward, BUT, what will I have to do to mount the rear
seat again? Will I have to modify the seat frame?
