Re: brakes

also, is this a power brake set up? or did you convert from power brakes
and now have a non power brake set up? the pedal will naturally feel harder then.
sorry if you already covered or stated this.

Nico is right, the smaller master cylinder bore will give you more pedal
travel but less force to apply the brakes. But you say you still have
the stock drum brakes. Are you sure you're not using a master cylinder
for disc brakes? The drum brake and disc brake masters are different.

Thanks for this post. I am doing a 4 wheel disc conversion on my 64
Sport
Fury. I also am using one of the Mopar perdormance MC's but was advised
to
use the smaller piston(15/16) as it would produce more hydraulic force
per
lb of foot pressure. Do you know which size MC you are using? This could

be the reason you are having to push so hard.

I have one one of Richard's Mopar lightweight dual master cylinders on
the Coronet, but the pedal feels too hard. I am still using the stock
drum brakes. Everything in the system is new including every line. The
system has been power bled. I am not using a proportioning valve. The
brakes seem to work, the pedal just feels wrong. Has anybody else had
this concern or am I just spoiled by the feel of the late model power
discs on my regular driver?
