I've been monitoring the prices paid for '63 Plymouth's on eBay for the 
past few weeks.  Of 7 cars listed only one sold the rest failed to make 
the reserve price.  The one that did sell noted in his description that 
he had a very reasonable reserve.  It was a Savoy MW clone that sold for 
$27,300.00.  The others, with one exception, were also pretty much 
restored.  Bids went as high as $30,500.00 for an original 383/4spd 
Sport Fury in unrestored, low mileage condition.  It was a thing of 
beauty.  (BTW for the lister who was asking @ interior color.  It was 
black ext. w/ blk & copper interior.)
I guess the upshot of all this is that maybe watching the Barrett 
Jackson auctions on t.v. has given a lot of people an inflated idea of 
the worth of their cars.
